Vacanexus is a one-person project, built from Luxembourg in 2026, dedicated to surfacing the world's most underrated travel destinations — the kind that don't trend on TikTok and never make the top of Booking.
The same 30 destinations, recommended everywhere.
Open any travel site. Bali. Tokyo. Paris. Marrakech. Same handful of cities, scrolled past a thousand times, ranked endlessly in clickbait listicles. Meanwhile, half the world goes unmentioned — places no less beautiful, often cheaper, almost always less crowded.
The result: 60 million people queue at sunset spots designed for 6 million. Restaurants get booked out months ahead. Locals get priced out of their own neighbourhoods. And travellers come home with the same photos as everyone else.
The internet doesn't need another listicle of "10 best things to do in Rome". It needs someone willing to say: have you considered Lecce instead? Or Tbilisi instead of Prague. Or the Faroe Islands instead of Iceland. Or the Atacama instead of Cancún.
